ShutterBug kids photography workshop

Digital Photography Sydney Workshop for Young Shutterbugs 7-12 years old

With the advancement of the digital age, children as young as five are using their parents camera or own a digital camera themselves. The Shutterbug Kids workshop has been designed to not only teach children the basics of digital photography and camera handling but to also train the child’s creative eye - focussing on the world around them viewed through the lens/LCD screen.

These workshop classes are fun, interactive and creative as well as educational. As a photographer and graphic designer, Sarah (the instructor) encourages the students to explore their own creativity and self-expression using their camera: composition and design, colour, texture, viewpoint, framing, family and faces, nature and flowers, pets, buildings, abstract and favourite objects.

"Thanks so much Sarah, Aimee really enjoyed the workshop and is so proud of her photos. She is quite amazed at what she managed to achieve and her pictures, both in quality and structure, have gone in leaps and bounds from doing the workshop with you. She took more photos over the weekend and is taking time to think before shooting - it's delightful to watch her."
